Carmen Turner-Schott, MSW, LCSW, LISW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with extensive experience in trauma, mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across diverse populations. She has worked in outpatient, community-based, and academic settings with individuals, families, and groups facing trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, crisis, addiction, grief, and complex psychosocial stressors. Her approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, and trauma-informed methods to support resilience and stabilization. She also serves as an Assistant Professor of Social Work, teaching graduate-level coursework in clinical practice, crisis intervention, and professional ethics, and is committed to ethical practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and expanding mental health access through telehealth and community engagement.

With more than 15 years of experience, she has provided outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, families, and corporations. About Ms. Person
Ms. Jasmine Person earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2013 and has dedicated her career to child welfare and family preservation. She served as a Family Preservation Worker with the Department of Family and Children Services from 2012 to 2018, returned in 2022, and became a supervisor of the foster care unit in 2023. Her experience includes case management, client advocacy, crisis intervention, family team meetings, child safety assessments, and supporting diverse populations. She has also interned with Heritage Healthcare of Athens, Barrow County School District, and Peace Place Inc., where she led support groups, provided case management, and helped develop a teen dating violence program. She is currently providing services under clinical supervision as she works toward independent licensure.

She is also the CEO and owner of Protect Each One Consulting, LLC, an interpersonal violence prevention agency operating across five divisions. She specializes in supporting first responders, healthcare providers, pilots, military members, and high-functioning individuals navigating trauma, chronic stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion. Her approach is collaborative, grounded, and trauma-informed, drawing on contemporary trauma theory and evidence-based therapy to help clients build emotional regulation, resilience, and a stronger sense of agency. She is known for creating a space where clients do not have to perform or minimize their experience, and for her calm, direct, and supportive presence in working through difficult conversations.
